Umbratone is designed as an offline ambient sound app. The app does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, or a developer-operated account system.
Data We Do Not Collect
Umbratone does not collect personal information, contact information, location data, device identifiers, usage analytics, advertising data, crash reports, or diagnostics for the developer.
Data Stored On Your Device
Umbratone stores app settings, favorites, recent sounds, saved mixes, purchase entitlement state, and imported audio references locally on your device so the app can function.
Imported audio files stay on your device unless you choose to share or back them up using Apple system features outside of Umbratone.
iCloud Sync
If you enable iCloud mix sync, Umbratone may store your saved mix data in your personal iCloud account using Apple's iCloud key-value storage. This sync is handled by Apple. Umbratone does not operate a server and does not receive or access your iCloud data.
Purchases
Umbratone uses Apple's StoreKit system for the lifetime unlock purchase. Payment is handled by Apple. Umbratone does not receive your payment card information.
Notifications
If you enable bedtime reminders, Umbratone schedules local notifications on your device. These reminders are not sent to the developer.
